Air filters are too often overlooked. WIX air filter elements play a vital part in preventing foreign particles like soot, carbon, and abrasives from damaging your engine. Even the smallest dust particles can damage cylinder walls, pistons and piston rings and cause premature engine wear.
WIX panel air filters provide air with a linear path and low restriction. They have special pocket pleats in the media, held together with specially formulated adhesive. The filter media is framed by a urethane sealing gasket and is supported (when applicable) by a mesh screen, which are both molded in place with the filter element.
WIX radial air filters feature a mesh screen on the inside and outside walls for element strength and media protection from backfires. Each filter is held together with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed seals on the top and bottom walls and an adhesive seal that joins the media ends.
WIX air filter elements for medium and heavy-duty trucks use more expensive compounds like silicone, rather than foam or rubber sealing gaskets, in order to assure a proper seal under harsh conditions. Their media feature embossed pleats and pleat stabilization beads that help the filter trap more dirt and last longer. End caps are designed with structure and fit in mind, many with metal end caps with handles, which allow for ease of installation and helps ensure that the filter becomes one with the housing to protect the engine.

Shipping and delivery
In order to provide our customers with the best possible service, we have strategically located multiple sites. We have sites in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Dallas (the United States).
When a product is in stock in Rotterdam, delivery times are generally as follows: orders placed before 4:00 p.m. are shipped the same day. If you choose to pick up your order.
If a product is out of stock in Rotterdam but in stock in Dallas, delivery times are generally as follows: Orders placed before 4:00 p.m. will be shipped within 5 business days.
Items with a deposit
US Partscenter sells remanufactured auto parts that are subject to a deposit. All parts are new except for the castings, which are reused. For this reason, a deposit is added to the purchase price, and we ask that you return the old part to us. This falls under the extended producer responsibility as stipulated in the Environmental Management Act, under which manufacturers are responsible for the take-back and processing of used parts.
You can request a refund for the deposit on a part by contacting us and returning the old part, preferably in its original packaging or in the box that came with the new product. Once we receive and process the return, the deposit amount will be refunded to the account used for payment. You are responsible for the return shipping costs, and the shipment must always include the Return Number you receive after submitting your request.
