Rotterdam roots
The first American cars appeared on Dutch roads in the 1930s. Their luxury and power made an impression, but parts were hardly available here. This made maintenance a considerable challenge for garages and owners.
In 1932, Pietersen & Co opened its showroom on Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam. It soon became apparent that repairs were difficult to carry out without original American parts. In order to help customers, Pietersen decided to order the parts directly from the United States.
What began as a practical solution grew into a professionally organized wholesale business in 1984: Partscenter Holland (PCH). This made Rotterdam the center for American car parts in the Netherlands, and enthusiasts and garages could finally count on a reliable source for their US cars.
From Venlo to one central location
While Rotterdam developed into a hub for American car parts, a second major player emerged in Venlo.
In 1976, C&P USA Parts in Venlo began importing parts for major American brands such as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, and Ford USA. This led to the growth of two parallel specialists: Partscenter Holland and C&P. In 2015, both companies decided to join forces under the name US-Partscenter, laying the foundation for further growth throughout Europe.
Today, we operate from one large, modern location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. With a plot area of 2,256 m², we now have our office, warehouse, and service department under one roof. This not only makes us more efficient, but also enables us to serve our customers faster and more comprehensively than ever before.
